On her first visit to Nepal, Mel fell in love with the culture, people and beauty of the Himalayas. Over the course of further trips, she made the contacts she needed to launch a boutique travel business, providing luxury treks in an environment more typically viewed as rugged and challenging.
Mel still does at least one trek a year, but now devotes more of her time helping guests of Trek Adventures Nepal plan their own expeditions.
